I started taking piano lessons at the age of 6, and have had a lifelong obsession with learning and listening to as much music as I could get my hands on.
In my youth, I've participated in musical competitions, such as the AGM Great Lakes Regional Competition and the Kiwanis festival, winning some first and second place trophies.
Once I graduated from High School, I continued my musical education and graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Music degree,
and soon after completed my Bachelor of Education at Brock University.
Ove the years, I've picked up the guitar, bass guitar, and drums. I've been playing. I've performed in various bands and musical groups throughout the years, ranging from drumming or playing guitar and singing in rock bands, and serving as piano accompaninst for violinists and flutists. To this day, I still write music and perform with my own band, and I'm always pushing myself to the limit of what I can achieve on the piano. Most recently, this includes learning Bach's Golberg Variations.

I can't learn the instrument for my student, therefore my role is push and guide them in the right direction.
All students learn differently and at different paces.. I tailor lessons individually so that my students can get the most out of their music education.
